Ordering & Personalisation

How do I personalise my hanger?

Simply enter your name or wording in the personalisation field on the product page before adding to cart. For the Standard Wedding Hanger, your role (Bride, Groom, Bridesmaid etc.) is selected from the options — you can also add a name at checkout. For the Custom Wedding Hanger, you choose the wording entirely.

Can I order a set for my whole bridal party?

Absolutely — many of our customers order a full set for the bride, bridesmaids, groom, groomsmen and family members. Just add each hanger separately to your cart with the relevant name and role.

What's the maximum character length for personalisation?

We recommend keeping names and wording to 30 characters or fewer for the best result. If you have something longer in mind, get in touch and we'll let you know what's possible.

Can I change my personalisation after ordering?

Because each hanger is made to order, we begin production quickly. Please email us at hello@thehangerstudio.co.nz as soon as possible and we'll do our best to make changes before production begins.

Production & Shipping

How long does production take?

Each hanger is handcrafted to order. Please allow 3–5 business days for production. Once dispatched, delivery within New Zealand typically takes 2–4 business days depending on your location.

Do you ship nationwide in New Zealand?

Yes, we ship to all addresses across New Zealand.

Product & Quality

What are the hangers made from?

Our hangers are handcrafted from premium wire metal, with the lettering carefully shaped by hand. They're available in Black, Gold and Silver finishes.

Will the hanger actually hold a wedding dress?

Our hangers are designed primarily as a keepsake and photo prop — they look beautiful in getting-ready photos. For heavy garments like wedding gowns, we recommend using a sturdy hanger for storage and switching to your personalised hanger for photos.

What's the difference between the Standard and Custom Wedding Hanger?

The Standard Wedding Hanger ($35) features a pre-set role title — Bride, Groom, Bridesmaid, etc. — with an optional name. The Custom Wedding Hanger ($60) lets you choose the wording entirely, ideal for something unique or a special phrase.

Returns & Issues

Can I return my hanger?

As all hangers are made to order and personalised, we're unable to accept returns unless the item arrives damaged or there's an error on our part. Please double-check your name and wording carefully before placing your order.

My hanger arrived damaged — what do I do?

We're sorry to hear that! Please email hello@thehangerstudio.co.nz with your order number and a photo of the damage and we'll make it right as quickly as possible.
